KPI's were monitored throughout the process and the scores were so positive that further replacement programs are being planned for the coming year.

Resident satisfaction was also very positive which is a testament to the consideration and respect given to tenants during the installations.

Raglan Designer Bathrooms

October 10th 2007

Raglan Housing Association had the designer touch when refurbishing 24 dwellings at Hamilton Lodge in Manchester. Masco Onestep Northern Team utilised Moores' design skills and technology to portrait to residents the computer generated images of their bathroom.

Mark Wakeham, Contracts & Operations Director comments, 'Working with the experienced Moores design team enabled us to provide the residents with an interactive design service specific to their bathroom choice'.

The use of this service in bathrooms enables residents and the client to play an active part in decisions and choices on their bathroom refurbishment, this allows both the fitting teams and the resident the much required information to enable a smooth, efficient installation.

William Sutton Warming Up Brighton

October 10th 2007

Moores transformed the kitchen area to a flatted scheme for residents at Mayo Court, Brighton bringing an inefficient water heating system that consistently provided their maintenance teams with plumbing problems into an integral, easily accessible system which enhanced the kitchen area.

Working alongside the William Sutton Homes Technical Team, Moores provided a design that enabled the upgraded system to be incorporated within its own cupboard thus utilising existing 'dead' space and improving the ergonomics of the kitchen.

Tony Price, Technical Surveyor for WSH commented 'this extension to the kitchen refurbishment project enabled the residents to benefit from an improved kitchen design and more efficient water heater system all within a similar time period'.

Masco Onestep Project Manager, Gary Walters explained, 'When presented with the project that needed to tackle both disruption of a kitchen refurbishment and the constant water heating failures, the design and planning needed to be accurate as to minimise the disruption to the residents. We were delighted with the results'. The team was able to complete the project on time and within budget.

Raglan HA - Benefits from a National

October 10th 2007

Raglan Housing Association needed to deliver kitchen refurbishments to 18 estates throughout the country in 2006/7. The projects varied from 3No dwellings to 40No dwellings, therefore its resource planning and logistics needed a partnered approach linked to workable programme.

Moores and Masco Onestep provided the infrastructure for this task to be delivered. Working with Raglan HA and their Technical Team, we were able to identify and develop a procedure document and programme that allowed continuity of delivery and consistency of service throughout the year.

This enabled Moores to control the process with support from various Raglan HA regional support teams. Mark Wakeham, Masco Onestep Contracts & Operations Director, explains, 'Without the procedure and planning phase these schemes would have needed to be planned individually, thus creating Raglan HA with resource and timescale issues. Working alongside the Raglan Team we have created a relationship with a procedure to be extended into the future'.
